Chapter seven
That was the most memorable weekend for Sade as she was falling for Nick. The next day he made her breakfast and they spent the whole day in bed watching movies but couldn't keep their hands out of each other. Their phones were both off and they didn't care for anything that could ruin their perfect bubble of love and Passion. While on the other side Sapphire got home to her dad and he was asleep so she went to her room, in the morning during breakfast he broke the news to her that they were moving abroad and she was going with them. Her dad couldn't fathom leaving his baby girl so this meant she would have to change Universities. She was so mad and tried to fight to stay as she had just made friends and didn't want to start all over again but her dad was stubborn he told her to save her breath as there was no going back. Sapphire had balancing tears when she ran to her room and shut it close, this is was always how her life had been. Since her mother died she hadn't had a permanent home or even close friends as they kept moving. That's when she decided to call her grandmother, hoping that she could get her to convince her dad to let her stay. Her grandmother asked her to go visit her and maybe she could help so she took her bag and left without telling her dad. Meanwhile Samira didn't end up going home that night, her old friends took her to another party and she blacked out on the couch so the next morning she woke up feeling like a wreck. Her phone had died and she didn't have a charger so she had to take the bus with the previous night's clothes. The walk of shame was embarrassing but she didn't care, fortunately she was close to her place and got home quickly and got a shower and got to bed.
Chapter eight
Sade met with Samira on Monday and had a lot to talk about how crazy their weekends were. Sapphire was out of reach and didn't come to school so they decided to go visit her home after school thinking maybe she was unwell. The day went fast and afterwards they went to look for their friend. When they got to her home they found her dad talking to the police and it was a shock, he said he hadn't heard from her and was getting worried so he wanted the search party to begin. This wasn't like Sapphire to go without communicating so when her friends got there her dad confided in them hoping they would somehow figure out where she was. Meanwhile Sapphire was on her way to her grandmothers house when she got lost and didn't have any more money as she had spent all she had on the trip. She had left in a hurry so she didn't carry her credit cards, this was a mess, she had tried hitch hiking with some guys but they looked suspicious so she didn't take the ride. Her grandmother called until her phone died so now she had no way of communicating with her family. She sat down on a bust stop with her luggage and fell asleep. She dreamed of her mother crying, she looked like an angel with a bright light she tried talking to her but she said nothing, that's when she woke up and her luggage was gone. As if things couldn't get any worse, she regretted being impulsive and just started crying herself. Fortunately her Grandmother got a hold of her dad and explained that Sapphire was on her way to her place but never made it. Her dad quickly got into the car with her friends and drove towards those sides looking for Sapphire. They stopped at every bus stop and Sade and Samira got out with pictures of Sapphire asking everyone if they had seen her. Until they got to the some dusty road and saw her seated on a bench crying. They quickly ran outside the car and called out her name as they hugged their friend.
"We thought we lost you Sapphire." They were so excited to find her and her dad called off the search party. It was dark so they drove to Sapphires grandmothers place to spend the night. Her dad felt remorseful for not listening to his daughter and after talking with her grandmother he decided that he would not force anything onto her. Besides she had such caring friends and didn't want to separate them. The next morning they drove back to the city and dropped the girls in their homes. Truly only Love could tear this friends apart as the were so close and bonded like glue.
