Tale of Sade, Sapphire and Samira

Sassy since birth...

It was Sade's 19th birthday and she was very excited to be able to celebrate with her best friends together. That morning she woke up really early as she had a whole day planned, going to the spa in the morning ,meeting her mother for lunch in the afternoon and attending her party in the evening. It was a break from her busy university life which was all exams, cats and studying also adjusting to being a young adult was hard but with her friends help she had survived the semester. She kept smiling as she read her birthday wishes from her loved ones but sadly none of them was from her boyfriend Nick. This made her worry a bit as he had been distant of late, not replying to texts and rarely calling her. But Sade was too busy with her friends drama and school so she just assumed everything was okay. Her thoughts were interrupted with a ring at her doorbell and when she went to open she found a delivery guy with a bouquet of flowers her favorite white roses, with a card wishing her a happy birthday, it didn't say who they were from so she figured it must be Nick who sent them. So her day was of to a good start, meanwhile Samira was working out in the gym trying to get rid of her anxiety since the exams were over, the first semester had been so tough as she was balancing school and basketball and living her life with her friends. She didn't realise that university would be this hard and she needed to give up one thing for another to avoid becoming overwhelmed. Her favorite trainer was in today, Brandon a stud with ripped abs and a built up physique that was a drool, he was everything from the hot guy manual, deep brown eyes and bushy eyebrows with a killer smile every time he walked up to her she could feel her stomach tremble with butterflies. He offered to help her with her workouts as he was a true gentleman and he loved assisting others which made him even more attractive. After her workouts she got a call from Sapphire reminding her of their plans to go shopping for a gift for Sade. As she was leaving the gym she ran into Brandon and in the middle of small talk she invited him to be her date for the party later that evening which he gladly agreed to as he also secretly liked her.

The day was going fast and Sade got done with her spa treatment, so she went to meet up with her mother for lunch. Her favorite band was playing so she sat down and ordered a drink, that's when her mother called to cancel but since she was already settled she decided to treat herself to a lovely meal. When she was done she paid and left for home as she needed to rest before her party. An hour later she got calls from caterers who were confirming the food and cake delivery as she was part of her party planning process. Being a perfectionist made her want to oversee everything personally but she thought to herself it would be worth it. As the sun was dawning her friends came to her house to help her prepare for the party, they popped a bottle of wine and got into the party mood as they dressed up. Nick finally called and Sade was excited to speak to him but he sounded kind of down and his voice was low and unclear. Since she was still preparing for her party they didn't talk much as they would meet up later. The girls gushed over their dates for the night apart from Sapphire who didn't get a plus one. Samira and Sapphire gave Sade her gift which was her favorite perfume and a pair of shoes which went with her outfit for the evening. It was time to leave and the girls had ordered their ride before so they left immediately, and got to the party just on time to make an entrance. They were looking glamorous and everyone was happy to see them as they begun mingling with the crowd. Since the venue was a club they went to the VIP tp party there for a while.
