Thanksgiving Prayer

"When God holds your hand, He never let's go," Isaiah 41;13

My cup overflows with joy & Laughter,

because the Lord has answered,

my prayer even after,

i had forsaken my Master.

When i was burdened with woes,

i allowed my heart to get bitter,

assuming that all was over,

but the Lord showed me the way.

Even when i get impatient,

i know that your word is my keeper,

for you never forget your promises,

and you hear the cry of the meeker.

Lifting those whom you please,

who have been on their knees,

praying to you to ease their pain

of a past that wasn't easy.

You provide healing,

to those who need it the most,

and pardon those who are at fault,

giving them chances to redeem themselves.

The strength within us,

which helps us to keep persevering,

the challenges of this world,

comes from Above us.

We are blessed beyond expectations,

and even when we get stressed,

your power gives us hope,

because nothing can shake us.

As our maker is on our side,

guiding every stride we take,

protecting us from pride and,

allowing us to learn from mistakes.

Giving thanks is the little we can do,

as our lives are nothing without you,

even when our effort goes to waste,

we know you have bigger plans for us.

So i pray to you Lord,

thanking you for this far,

asking you for your grace,

and eternal guidance,

as i run my own race.
