A prayer for the departed souls

I am a flower quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow.

This earth isn't our home,

we are allowed to roam,

around and create our lives,

in a temporary state.

But when our time comes,

we don't hear the sound of drums,

so we are never ready for our departure,

nor are we willing to let go (of our loved ones).

If we believe in God,

He will lead us to the other side,

where we hope that we will have life,

as everything will fade but his word.

For our lost loved ones,

we never had enough time,

together in this world,

and not even a million years would count.

So i pray that we meet again,

and that we will still be friends,

I pray that you will rest in peace,

and you will find comfort in God.

I pray for you soul,

that your sins will be forgiven,

and you will never be forgotten,

as you live forever in my heart.
