SELF: The self is an individual person as the object of one's own reflective consciousness.
It is how you see yourself, the image you project to the world of who you think you are.
There are different forms of self that make the whole being, and they vary with people.
1) SELF WORTH
This is how you value yourself, if you were asked to sell an object you would look at its value. But a human's value can't be measured using monetary terms. Hence this is determined by how you carry yourself, you have the ability to influence people to value you depending on what you think you are worth.
2) SELF LOVE
Love of oneself, not just the good but also the flaws in your persona. One has to accept themselves completely and embrace all their strengths and weaknesses. It includes being compassionate towards yourself and forgiving of your own mistakes and rewarding your gains.
3) SELF CONTROL
Humans have different appetites or cravings be it food or sex. There are those things that are so darn good to stop but can be so bad when over done. It's the addictive habits that can consume you if you dont get a hold of yourself. Self control includes not giving in to all the temptations around and restricting yourself.
4)SELF MASTERY
This is knowledge of oneself. You go to school to learn about your body functions and parts but no one can teach you about yourself. The ability to be aware of your needs, your wants and your triggers. Mastery of your being by learning how to act and not let people get on your last nerve.
5) SELF CARE
How do you care for yourself, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually?
You have to remember that a human being is a whole. But you are not a robot so you require enough rest and recuperation. Take breaks and ask for help when in need because two minds are better than one.
6) SELF BELIEVE
How do you perceive your potential, do you assume your gifts or talents. How you present ideas can either persuade others or repel them if you dont believe in what you stand for. Basically do you think you have what it takes to be the best version of yourself, or do you doubt your every thought.
7) SELF DISCIPLINE
It takes persistence, consistency and discipline in order to achieve your goals. Self discipline is denying yourself pleasure, making sacrifices where necessary for the future. How do you regulate your own behaviors and remain focussed on your goals without getting discouraged.
8)SELF MADE
This is a term used to praise oneself for achieving success without much help from those around them. It is a form of appreciation of yourself for the effort and work put to achieve your success.
9)SELF CONFIDENCE
How do you perceive yourself in your own eyes, not how the world see you. Are you really who you think you are? The trust you have in your personal judgement, power and ability is self confidence. It comes from mastery of oneself's strengths and weaknesses.
10) SELF AWARENESS
"Self awareness is the ability to look at your life honestly without the need to be right or wrong,"Debbie Ford.
It's being conscious of your personality and how you interact with others. Realization that you are an individual who has a different path to others and embracing your uniqueness.
11) SELF IMAGE
Finally the best for last as your self image is a combination of your physical attributes, how the world sees you, how you think the world sees you and how you see the world. Our eyes are a reflection of our souls, but we only see the outside of a person. But the conclusion of our judgment is the image we have of our self.
