If today was your last day, what would you do different

"You always loved to overthink",Minnie said as she walked to where he was seated. He looked up and saw her beautiful face smiling at him, she was glowing with her baby bump showing in a white linen dress. "We will get through this together" was her favorite phrase as this wasn't the first time they were in trouble together. Remember the time we got caught for speeding and almost slept in jail? She joked lightly but he wasn't feeling it."Your dad wants me to marry you but i cant not because i don't love you but i'm not ready for all this "Like i said we will get through this together babe, you know i am new to all this as well"Minnie replied. It was getting late so they decided to head home since they were now staying together in Minnie's parents house. They lived in a mansion with servants so the parents didn't mind them living together as that made their daughter happy. On their way just a few blocks from home they stopped by the roadside abruptly as they spotted a man writing on the track. He was blocking the road so mickey went to remove him but found him scribbling on the ground the "dark child will be a victim" the man was believed to be insane so this didn't shake mickey in fact he just grabbed the man and put him on the side of the road and left. So when they got home they had dinner and went to bed, that's when the drama begun. Minnie was very possessive of Mickey so when she went through his phone and found some flirty messages with some girl she got very upset. This led to a confrontation with verbal abuse which woke Minnie's parents up. They stopped the fight between them but Minnie felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and they rushed her to the hospital. Her parents were panicking and blaming Mickey. When they got to the hospital Minnie was taken to the emergency room with her mum while Mickey stayed back with her father. That's when Richie walked in, Richie was this lunatic ex of Minnie who lingered around her as he had never stopped obsessing over her. His parents were from a wealthy family they were family friend with Minnie's family so he found out about the incident from his parents. When Mickey tried to confront Richie he said the baby was his but before they could fight Minnie's dad intervened. Fortunately Minnie was out of danger and due to her complications her baby was delivered premature 7 months old. It was a dark skinned beautiful child who was healthy and looked so peaceful. Since Richie couldn't stop his claims they decide to take a pregnancy test and true to his words the DNA test came back positive for Richie being the paternal father.Minnie was asleep so nobody could confront her, hence her parents dismmised the two men, Mickey took this chance to go get his things from the house but on his way he decided to pop into a bar for a few drinks seeing as his life had just been turned upside down again. After finishing his second bottle he decide to go see Minnie for old times sake to say goodbye but what he saw shocked him. Minnie's parents had taken the baby out of the nursery and into the surgery room, "Stop!" he yelled. I am sorry Mickey this is the only way to get this taboo out of our lives, she said pointing the baby . "What do you mean?" Mickey asked, you see Richie is not just a friend of the family he is cousins with Minnie hence this child is a product of incest and cannot leave. Mickey tried to run towards the baby but fell dizzy and fainted. A few weeks later he woke up in a shed feeling woozy, then Minnie's parents came a few minutes later and he was told that he had been out for 3 weeks and they had buried the baby, some of his memory kicked in murderer! he yelled. Minnie's parents signaled their bodyguard and he came with a gun and mickey kept silent. You have two options, you go back to your life as it was before finish school live with your parents and never say a word or stay and die. Remember if you leave and dare open your mouth there will be consequences you cant even imagine. Where is Minnie? he asked concerned well she was taken abroad to further her studies and she will be staying there to avoid any repeats of this past months, reckless behavior and unwanted pregnancies. You will be given a scholarship but you have to stay away from this family to protect your family. Now your parents have been told you have been found as you were a missing you will go home and tell them you don't remember anything then you will ask to go back to school because your scholarship will be replaced by someone more deserving unless you show interest. Mickey found himself choosing his life and his parents over the girl he loved& her dead child...so i guess in the end he got what he wanted a second chance to do everything again but the price he paid hit him deep in his conscious. Moral of the story The universe gives us what we want when we least expect it, and in a different way than what we expect we either chose to embrace it or disregard it. *THE END*
