As soon as i met you

i  knew i wanted you

to be part of my life

but i had no time

Immediately you left

i was left with what ifs

what if i let it be

and let this grow

It was too late

all i have are thoughts

and wishes that i made

that wherever you are

you are safe and happy

I chose to remember you

in spite of everything
