Good sells itself while the bad needs advertisement

It's funny how those you help,

wish you the worst in your life,

while those who don't know you,

cheer you on like you are the best.

It's funny how your looks determine,

how people treat you regardless,

of who you are, poor or rich,

but people aren't what they seem to be.

It's funny how those who know you,

dont want to see you grow,

despite how they act supportive,

but deep down wishing you stay below under.

It's funny how the important things,

get shut down by the world,

but the stupid things get praises,

on how cool they are.

It's funny how when you want something,

you desperately dont get it,

but when you finally give up,

life magically provides it.

It's funny how when you get what you want,

You don't see its value finding errors,

and leaving it behind for the next shining object,

just to lose it and realise its worth.

It's funny how when you think it's done,

God lifts you up and you get a breakthrough,

leading your life against those who despised,

your effort and thus the last shall be first.

It's funny how, those who rejected you,

cry for you when you are the top,

asking for a hand when you're winning,

but when they were on top they ignored you.

It's funny how those we underestimate,

end up proving us wrong in their deeds,

but those who we put our faith in,

disappoint us without even trying.

It's funny how we never know tomorrow,

but somehow act like we're in control,

forgetting that when life throws us curveballs,

Our Lord's will prevails saving the day.

It's funny how when we die,

we are remembered by our deeds,

but while we live people just see,

what they want to see and judge the face value.

It's funny how the bad outweighs the good,

and everytime a person does a mistake,

the world is ready to despise them,

in spite of the good deeds done in the past.
