I heard his voice in a blue afternoon,
a sweet and soothing rhythm,
he was singing an original song,
and he sounded like birds on a tree.
I imagined his face,
how his lips were moving,
the stare he had when he focused,
and i thought he was singing to me.
Then i heard a loud yell,
I was deep in my fantasy,
when my mother called me,
Sending me to get some bread.
She ruined the dream,
I mean how could she interrupt me,
So the feeling went away,
but his song still played in my head.
I spent the night building castles,
holding my teddy bear close,
wishing it was my muse,
i was head over heels.
Then as if the universe heard me,
A friend got tickets to his show,
So here i was thinking the stars had aligned,
and this was my moment to get my crush.
But Alas! to my surprise,
In real life he couldn't sing,
He sounded worse than me (croaky)
Were those just the effects of auto tune?
My world turned grey as my smile became a frown.
*The End*
