Purple flower you are slowly dying,
withering from the roots but still trying,
to hold on to your shine,
when the sun keeps smiling on you.
Some parts of you are healthy,
even though they've seen the worst days,
while your leaves fade into deep red,
symbolizing the pain of death.
Since your owner neglected you,
and the rain failed you too,
you had to survive on your own,
keeping up a front while your shoots rot.
You wish you had more time,
to let the winds blow you by,
but the bees took your nectar,
and the humans plucked your fruits.
Its sad that you let others take,
from you continuously without a care,
Giving until you break,
but when you withered,
no one came to your aid.
