Naive

A legendary fairy tale,

one of destined lovers,

who meet at a crossfire,

and neither gets hurt.

Too good to be true,

but they know no better,

believing in each other,

their flame burns brighter.

til it starts to fade away,

as each day passes,

they grow further apart,

but they chose to stay. 

As they hold on to the frail memories of their love,

But when war rages on,

they both end up where it all begun,

At  a crossfire and each takes the others life.
