Chapter three

It was the next day the girls woke up and dressed up ready to share their juicy stories of their night. They met up at their usual spot and walked to University together of course Sade shared the juicy tips of her love life, which took a while and they arrived at University. That day Sade and Sapphire shared a class, so they parted with Samira only. Sapphire was a passive person to other people but when these two were together she opened up like a flower in bloom. They had collaborated in the past in their Arts projects. Sapphire had many talents and that’s why she pursued fine arts while Sade was pursuing design. These two girls bonded over their similarities and enjoyed the lectures as they worked together. In the afternoon they met for their juice in the Shack but it was brief as Samira and Sapphire went for practice early while Sade went to do her assignments and meet up with Nick afterwards.

As usual Nick was in Basketball practice, Sade got there right as he was doing finishing off runs around the field. She sat at the benches watching him with a smile on her face, when he saw her he smiled back at her and blew her a kiss. He quickly went to the showers to get ready and met her looking all fresh and smelling good too. They went out for dinner at the local and he walked her home holding her hand protectively.

So Sapphire’s violin teacher was very inspiring to her, she adored the man with all his achievements in music and his patience with teaching them. He was a young bachelor in his 30’s and was dedicated to his music as he held shows where he debuted his violin skills and worked with artists occasionally to create songs. His name was Slater and he was passionate about his career and put everything in his life in that order. He was preparing Sapphire for a soloist performance in his show that would be his opener for the event. They had grown very fond of working together, and created masterpieces. That night when Sapphire went to sleep she was anxious about the performance which was a in 2days time, so she was restless. She dreamt of her Professor Slater serenading her with his violin and she was dancing along to his tune and she joined him with the cello and they created music. She was looking at his eyes while playing the instrument and so was he so they dropped the instruments and the made out as the music was playing in the background. Suddenly she heard he clock it was a dream gladly as she woke up shocked by what just happened and what did it mean? Did she have a crush on her Professor?

Chapter Four

Sapphire lost her mother when she was young and her father was her everything. They struggled together when she was young and there was an incident where one of his colleagues tried to take advantage of his daughter when he was at work but didn’t succeed because he got caught by their curious neighbors. Her dad was so worried that he beat that guy up and vowed that no one would harm anymore of his family. He quit his job and started Businesses, they would be travelling around and stayed in hotels a lot. They were together through the struggles to build their empire and when Sapphire’s dad made it being she was protected all day. She grew up feeling very secure but isolated that’s when she started playing musical instruments. She learned the piano first and then the flute since her father bought her all these to keep her company. Her father later married a young woman and had two boys with her whom she disliked a lot. She was no longer a priority but was provided everything she needed. At times she would look at her mother’s old albums in attempt of remembering her but couldn’t. She was always attracted to older boys, and never had courage to talk to them. But her attraction to her Professor was more of being fond of each other or she assumed.

That next day was the Basketball game that Nick had invited them to, and the girls needed a night out. After a long week of working hard and doing assignments, and the game was a fun experience the match was very interesting with the female match being the first game while the males being the last. Afterwards they went out with some of the players and had fun dancing and drinking. All the girls were coupled up with Sade &Nick who were now dating, Samira &Tony, &Sapphire with Liam. Fortunately, the guys were gentlemen and returned the girls home safe and sound.

The girls had a sleepover at Sade’s place where they had more drinks as they talked about the guys they had crushes on. It was a lot of fun as the laughed and talked about their lives. They truly had a bond and were happy together but all this was about to change.
