Livelihood

No one who is successful has had a straight path

Every day we wake up feeling good,

pack our bags and leave our hoods,

just to go out there to look,

for a living and sustenance.

Children read books,

in hopes of earning a livelihood,

when they grow older,

instead of enjoying their childhood.

While grownups would,

get caught up working,

and forget to enjoy their lives,

as they focus on their goals.

But life can't be all work, no play

coz we drift from ourselves this way

so let go of your worries,

you only live once isn't just a phrase,

and your job can't save your life.
