Keep Talking

I spy with my eyes,

a hyena in disguise,

with all the lies,

and a fake smile.

Oh dear! when will you learn,

how to discern evil from good,

those allies who pretend to be concerned,

but could care less about you.

They don't want you to win,

coz they tossed you out to the bin,

when they thought you weren't shit,

so now they call you just to act like they know you.

But you know better,

coz when you had nothing,

they were nowhere to be found,

and they treated you like a beggar.

Fortunately life moves on,

and with the ups and downs,

you found your sound, (movement)

which enabled you to keep going.

When they tried to keep up,

they lost track of you,

so they decided to gossip about you,

seeing as they were behind your back.

So you decided to cut them off,

as life is too short,

to keep buying knockoffs,

when you can afford the original.

And you know what they say,

about those empty vessels,

they make the most noise,

so keep talking!
