Game over

"He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him" Hebrews 11:16

A puppet and a puppeteer,

that's how you get lured,

and getting yourself ensnared,

in this rat maze of a game.

The mastermind pulls the strings,

and even kings get moving,

bowing down to their knees to kiss the ring,

as they cling to the idea of everlasting power.

Oh simple minded men,

whose rewards are of this world,

living in the waterworld,

and seeking to destroy the innocent.

When will you learn,

that what you put out,

always comes to you in turn,

and the piper must be paid.

Its all a game until,

the thrill wears off,

then its a downhill,

as you sink in the pit you dug.

Let's all beware,

that our reckless affairs,

lead us to our own despair,

but trust in the Lord's prayer.
