Friends by choice

Having a sister is a blessing,

especially when it comes to dressing,

even when someone tries messing,(with you)

you always have backup, so no stressing.

But it doesn’t always feel so good,

when you are on the wrong,

you will get a good dose of,

i told you so!

And everything you do,

has been done before,

so you have to be extra creative,

to have your own stories.

Even so, sisters can help you learn a lot,

from their experiences, things you’re never taught,

and you can avoid getting caught off guard,

by the twist and turns of life.

You always have a shoulder to cry on,

and someone to tell all your secrets,

as she holds your hand through thick & thin,

knowing that you deserve the best!

Sisters don’t have to be blood,

they can be friends who are so close,(kindred)

who would never leave you when life gets tough,

and make you laugh until you cry.
