Forgiveness

Sometimes i find myself feeling blue,

cornered in my perception and moods,

wondering what i did to you,

so that you could screw me over like this.

But then i remember you are human too,

and greatly flawed in character just as me boo,

so i let myself go through the pain,

knowing that nothing lasts forever.

Besides you made me realize,

my strength through those cries,

every night until i let it die,

and just like that ties were broken.

So i decided to start a new,

let go of my old views,

and true to that i grew,

wiser than i knew.

Forgiving you was the best decision,

as it let me acknowledge my weakness,

and let go of the fear of being wrong,

which allowed me to forgive myself as well.

Matthew 6: 14-15 "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
